Manager, Learning & Development - Asia

Our client is a global material sciences company with focus on designing, developing, and manufacturing advanced laminates to fabricate multilayer printed circuit boards. They are seeking a high calibre candidate to join their growing company.

Main Responsibilities: 
  • Establish the corporate academy and build the learning and development function to support the business operations in Asia
  • Work with senior management to develop the talent development strategy and execution plan
  • Partner with Asia HR team to cultivate a performance based organization
  • Develop and roll out the competency framework for all levels
  • Support the organization development function by developing the talent development framework, succession planning and high potentials development
  • Formulate staff development program based on the strategy
  • Design and execute the training plan for Asia; plan and control the budget
  • Create, deliver and manage the leadership development curriculum
  • Act as an internal master trainer to select and develop internal trainers
  • Assist in compiling and centralize training materials with different functional groups
  • Assist in developing operations’ training and operators and supervisors skill certification process
  • Maintain a network of industry trainers and executive coaches, identify and source the most effective training methodologies
  • Take charge of Asia communications and internal marketing on training
  • Assist with any corporate training and communications in Asia
Job Requirements: 
  • Degree holder in Business Administration or Human Resources or related disciplines
  • At least 8 years relevant experience serving in multinational organization. Regional exposure is highly preferable
  • Have solid knowledge to organize the training program including identify the training needs, plan, design and deliver the training course and evaluate the training effectiveness, particularly in management and leadership training
  • Experience to partner with the sales and operations team to drive, develop and execute the training program for the front-line employees
  • Experience to develop the e-learning platform and establish the corporate university is an advantageous
